The gospel that moved a nation

Holy ground, still under construction

There is no way to talk about faith and justice in this country without talking about Birmingham. The question Faith Out Loud! Birmingham asks is not whether that history matters, but what it obligates us to do now.

Our Birmingham work centers congregations across [the city and surrounding communities], with particular attention to the leaders who have held this work for decades without support — and the young people deciding right now whether the church has anything to say to them.
